2. Galanz Expands AC Compressor Production Capacity
The phase II project of Cnina-based Galanz’s air conditioner compressor production line started formal operation on January 28. By the end of 2013, the annual production capacity of high efficiency compressors under Galanz’s brand will increase to 3.6 million units.

4. Climatizacion 2013 was Held in Madrid, Spain, Successfully
The Climatizacion HVAC&R exhibition was held in Madrid, Spain, from February 26 to March 1. While the scale of the 2013 exhibition was smaller than last year’s, it continued to serve as a valuable venue for information and business exchange.

5. U.S. Shipment in December Increases 4%
U.S. shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps totaled 282,840 units in December 2012, up 4.0% in 2011. Year-to-date combined shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps increased 1.9%, to 5,613,665 units, during the same period in 2011.
