2. Interview: Emerson Climate Technologies Tests Various Low-GWP Refrigerants
At the JRAIA Symposium held in Kobe, Japan last November, Dr. Xiaogen Su, vice president, Emerson Climate Technologies, Asia Pacific, gave a presentation on R32 performance in low ambient heating. JARN interviewed Dr. Su to learn more about the refrigerant research, etc.

3. Fujitsu General Establishes Moscow Representative Office
The new subsidiary, Fujitsu General (Euro) GmbH, Moscow Representative Office in Moscow, Russia, started its activities in earnest from January 1, 2013, aiming to research and collect market information and support customers’ activities in Russia and countries belonging to CIS.

4. AHRI Completes Research Projects on Low-GWP Refrigerants
AHRI, the U.S., recently published two research reports. One is the report summarizing the configurations of air conditioning/heat pump systems using low GWP refrigerants that can meet standards’ safety requirements. The second report is ‘Novel materials for heat exchangers.’

5. Bosch Sets Up Central AC Factory
Bosch Thermotechnik in Shangdong, China, will invest ?20 billion to construct first production base for energy-saving central air conditioners in China, and develop more than 10 energy-conserving projects, including DC inverter commercial air conditioners, cooperating with OAK, after its merger in June 2012.
