Hussmann Tackles Industry-Wide Technician Shortage with TechX Program

Hussmann Corporation, a Panasonic company, announced it is launching TechX, a new high-level training program with Lincoln Educational Services Corporation. Starting in May 2018, students will have the opportunity to train for Hussmann careers in the inaugural Advanced Refrigeration Training Center at Lincoln Tech’s Grand Prairie, TX campus. With an industry-wide shortage of technicians, and almost 60,000 HVACR positions projected to open in the United States in the next six years, Hussmann sources say the company envisions a bright outcome from the TechX program: Being able to more readily identify and hire the right candidates for the Hussmann Services team.
