U.S. Senate Passes Geothermal Support Bill

The Geothermal Exchange Organization (GEO) reported today that H.R. 4850 passed the U.S. Senate on September 22. The bill amends the Energy Policy Act of 2005 to specifically include thermal technologies (read: geothermal heat pumps) for achieving federal energy efficiency goals.
