FIFA World Cup Stadium Installs Thermax Chiller

The cooling division of Thermax, India’s top-class manufacturer of absorption chillers, recently commissioned a high temperature hot water absorption chiller driven by solar heat for the Doha, Qatar stadium. Summer temperatures which can reach 50°C and a concern about lack of infrastructure did not deter FIFA from awarding the 2022 World Cup to the tiny state on December 3, 2010.
