Carel Opens New Manufacturing Plant in Brazil

On 14 February Carel inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Brazil, in the Valinhos industrial district around 100 km northwest of Sao Paulo. Carel Sud America Instrumenta?ao Eletronica, a trading company operating in the country since 1998, has also moved to the same site. Carel Sud America, headed by Giovanni Colazzo, managing director, has become the Carel Group’s fourth subsidiary to deal with both sales and manufacturing, following those in Italy, China and the United States, in addition to the Group’s other nine subsidiaries.
